Tracking changes / notes

Hi,

Is it possible to have tracmor track changes in status or notes on assets?  I haven't been able to figure it out, and suspect it may not exist.

The scenario is as follows:
I have an asset that is modified, needs repair, or fails a test.    I would like to add a note that says "Test failed..." and have it show up on the history?  Or alternatively change the "Asset Status" custom field to "Needs Repair" and attach a note.

The only workaround I have found is to make a location called "Test Bench".  Move the asset to the test bench, add comments, and then move it back to where it was.
