Topic: Problem with Printing Shipping Labels

Hello,

I tried to print a shipping label but i have a big problem, and i am troubleshoting this for almost 4 hours now, but no luck sad

I use zebra Lp2844 Thermal Printer,
Internet Explorer 8.0
Latest Version of Java
WIndows 7

And when i try to print i am getting this error:
Your label has been sent to your Thermal Printer

If your label did not print:

1.  Make sure you have installed the Java Runtime Environment.
2. Check that the Thermal Printer Port (usb001) is set correctly.
3. Make sure your browser (or security software) is not blocking Java applets.

Warning: Use only the printed original label for shipping. Using a photocopy of the label for shipping purposes is fraudulent and could result in additional billing charges, along with the cancellation of your FedEx account number.

And i am quiet sure that all of them are correct, USB Port, Java, and Security software.

PLease help me, is there anything that i am missing.

Re: Problem with Printing Shipping Labels

Most likely the issue is the Thermal Printer Port setting. The most consistent way we have found to get thermal printers working is to share your printer, even if the printer is directly connected the computer you are using Tracmor on.  Then for the thermal printer port, specify the shared printer in the folowing format:

\\ComputerName\PrinterShareName

Make sure to include the backslashes, and make sure that you use the printers share name. Let me know if that works for you.

Got Inventory? Get Tracmor.
