Tracking Changes to Asset fileds

A feature that would be helpful is the ability to track the changes made to an Asset, such as changes to parent/child assignments, notes and (particularly in my case) Custom Fields.  I have a custom field for various notes about the asset and I want to be able to see if someone updated the notes and what all of the different notes were there before.  (Similar to the Transactions for the Check In/Out and Moves..) Thanks!
