Topic: Cannot Receive Item

Hi,
if an item has been shipped but no receipt has been scheduled, I get the option to receive it on the asset description page. However, when I try to receive it, it takes me to the shipping page which is fine, however the recipient information does not work and therefore I cannot complete the transaction.

Is this is a bug and is there a workaround?

I believe you just need to set your Default Company in the Shipping/Receiving section of the Admin module.  Set this to be your own company (and make sure you've added at least one contact and address for your company in the Contacts module).  Then you should be able to schedule receipts.
