It would be a useful feature for me to be able to reserve assets for a future date. I know the philosophy is to reserve a unit for possible shipping, but in my situation, assets will be used by other departments from time to time, and it would be useful to reserve them for a block of time, so the use of assets could be scheduled on a calendar. For example: A laptop and projector could be reserved for a presentation that is off site next week. We would be able to see that those pieces of equipment are scheduled to be used off site, and would not plan to use them the same day.

When I try to run it, it says permission denied (I do have ssh access to my host). Does that mean that it isn't installed on the server? Or that I just can't use it. Is it possible for me to set this up? Or will I need to ask my hosting provider to do it for me? I obviously don't have root access. Thanks for your help.

I've noticed that if you set a minimum asset code that begins with a "0", that zero is not output in the auto generated asset codes. Ex: setting a minimum asset code of 010001, the automatically generated code is 10001.

Check in your user roles, are your Transaction Permissions set for "All" or "Owner"? Try setting to "All" and see if it works.
