Hello,
I am having an issue here. I have an administrator check an item out (inventory staff for ex.) to a trade show.
When the item comes back in and we have someone else at the computer (ex. shift change) and everyone of course has their own log in information they can not check the item back in . . .
It seems as if only the person that checked it out and can check it in . . .
Why is that ?
Can someone please help.

Check in your user roles, are your Transaction Permissions set for "All" or "Owner"? Try setting to "All" and see if it works.
as originally conceived and designed, only the user that checked out an asset can check it back in (this is the same as reserving or unreserving an asset) however it has been brought to our attention (outside of the forums) by customers, that the additional flexibility of being able to have other users check assets back in would be a useful feature to have as a part of tracmor. probably you could turn on/off this feature in admin.
Any idea if this will ever come to light ?

Any idea if this is planned to be implemented?
This feature was added earlier this year, as well as the ability to check out to other users and to contacts. These features are currently available for users of our hosted service. The code is of course available in our svn repo, but this is recommended for developers only, as there is no automated upgrade process from 0.3.0 to the latest code at present.
