Topic: Email notifications

I would like to see the ability to have email notifications at all critical points of the process.  Also have a note field that would be included in these emails for items such as device check out and check in.  Also when you move or ship assets.

Please let me know if this is something already in development or if this can be accelerated!

part of the development timeline.  not spec'ed out or assigned a budgeted yet.  unlikely to happen within the next 6 months.

I would second this request - would be great to have auto notifications when items under the receiving tab are past-due or perhaps a subscribe to category or asset/inventory so that you could receive notifications upon any move/reserve/checkout/in/shipping/receiving of a particular item or any item from a category.
