Directory Authentication

I've seen the previous post in the Q&A forum about Active Directory support and am curious if the developers have any inclination to follow up on that request.  From a business standpoint authentication into a directory is highly preferable to a stand alone user database which must be maintained. 

Other FOSS inventory management programs have integrated full directory support (not limited only to Microsoft AD) and that puts them at a slight advantage.

The features and UI of Tracmor are very impressive, I'd really like to see full directory support (open LDAP, eDirectory and Active Directory) supported in the future.
