Topic: Open Source and Integrating Tracmor with Proprietary Database

We have an interest in integrating Tracmor with a proprietary database that we have developed.  With access to the Open Source code, would we be able to develop a way to export specific fields of data from the Tracmor system (more specifically, from items with 1-D bar codes that have been scanned).

Our database is a relational SQL database for resource tracking and geo-coding (though we are looking to integrate with a bar code scanning application for Warehouse Management and Staging Area/Points of Distribution operations).

Please advise me if you have had other organizations with similar integration circumstances.  Thank you.

I wanted to address this question even though it's been awhile since it was posted (better late than never!)

The answer to your question, if I understand it correctly,  is yes.  Tracmor data is stored in a MySQL database,  so you can easily access any data you need from Tracmor directly through it.  We also intend to build an API for Tracmor in the future to make this even easier.
